Our Food

Using high quality ingredients is of utmost importance to us at DOE. We source our ingredients locally wherever possible, and always from suppliers with a reliable reputation.

The majority of our donut fillings and toppings are made completely from scratch in our Grey Lynn store (eg. jams, caramel, custard, crumbles, marshmallow).


All of our donuts and cookies are made with high grade flour, which contain glutens. We also use a variety of nuts in many of our recipes. If you have food allergies of any kind, then unfortunately, we do advise that you don't consumer our products as we cannot guarantee we are free from any allergens.



Our sugar supplier, Chelsea, is one of New Zealand’s top 100 companies and has become one of New Zealand’s most beloved and iconic brands. Their raw sugar is sourced from quality sources around the world including Australia, South Africa and South America, from trusted and reputable suppliers.

Free Range Eggs

Our egg supplier is Otaika Valley Free Range Eggs, a well established family run business with farms in Otaika Valley near Whangarei and Kaharoa near Rotorua. Otaika Valley hens are free to roam on beautiful and fertile land, resting at night in spacious safe barns.


Our coffee bean supplier is Allpress Espresso; A New Zealand coffee brand that buys 87% of their specialty-grade arabica beans directly from the country of origin, from ethical exporters who connect them directly to farmers and co-ops producing high-quality coffee. 

Alternative Milk

Made especially for a fantastic flat white, Barista Oat Milk by New Zealand brand All Good is made with real oats, squished and squeezed to keep the beta-glucans in. It’s dairy free, GMO & soy free and unsweetened.
